TESTIMONIALS
I used to hate learning to read music with the other teachers that I had, but you make it so easy, fun, and exciting.

Basslines with Chords

There are many ways that a guitarist can accompany singers and instrumentalists. Although it can be slightly difficult at first if you haven’t encountered it before, playing basslines with chords is one of the most fun styles to play and if you can master this style your services will be sought after,. It involves playing a bassline with your thumb (although you can use a pick) and the chords with your fingers - simultaneously.

This exercise is a relatively easy arrangement of a jazzy 12 - bar blues. When I say easy I don’t mean it will only take you five minutes to learn it, I mean it is an easy arrangement of this type, of which many songs can be very challenging. Once you have mastered this one, all the rest will made that little bit easier........You can download the full lesson (pdf file - for your own personal use) from here.

Have fun,
Kevin.
