Should be a go Joella. 🙂 The day or night would have to depend on what the programme is of the festival, but we will know that by around Feb/March next year.

Yes it was a great night and weekend of music. Lab band is awesome and although I didn’t have preconcieved expectations, at least I don’t think I did, the preformance was quite exceptional. The added bonus was the interaction with Bruce Forman and Larry Koonse and listening to them play, then the Saturday night big band with Robben Ford. Thanks Kevin for the opportunity to be part of all this, and thanks to all who welcomed us down to Palmy for the weekend. Great to put faces to forum posters and experience good times with new music friends. Got home to rain and firewood to cut, at least I had an axe in my hand!
Can’t wait until next year where we will make a week of it and try and soak up as much of that music feel and passion as we can.

OfflineIt just shows what a great sound you can get with a good musical director AND musicians that know what they are doing.
My favourite tune of the night was Lonely Road. Exceptional balance of parts, creating a gorgeous sound.

OfflineThe Lab Band rocks! That was a fun performance last night from a passionate, integrated bunch of musicians and leader. Your hard work certainly paid off and your professionalism and obvious joy in working together was very apparent.
I’m very pleased I came down from Auckland to see you all again, it was an inspiration.
