Bach writes incredible music, easily transferred to guitar. All of it is in the public domain, but needs arrangement.
These older gentlemen have done an incredible arrangement.
When hair was long in the late 80’s/early 90’s I was in an Iron Maiden covers band. One of Kevin’s students and my bandmate, Michael Lambeth, and I convinced the principal at Feilding Agricultural High School to let us play Bach’s Rondeau in B Minor (flute) as a duet in front of school assembly. The principal was quite chuffed to have refined music being performed instead of rock.
There was up to 1000 students so we had to play amplified.
We’d mastered the tune, with 1 flute piece and accompanying viola.
Got on stage and, our plan unbeknownst to anyone, we hit our BOSS OD-1’s and launched into Rondeau with singing overdrive. Classical instantly became Heavy Metal.
We were not allowed to perform classical music on stage at school again.

Wow! Loved this! Bach is my favourite composer and one of my long term goals was to play some of is music on the guitar!
You have the ability to already play some of Bach’s music now. Let us know at your next lesson. 🙂

Wow, those men can play guitar really good! We might not have the hair, or the smoke, but we have women and men, and music score on music stands! Awesome!
